The one day RYA Powerboat Level 1 course has a minimum age of 8 years old, with no previous experience required and focuses on basic preparation of the boat and crew, boat handling, picking up and securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside and being towed.

The two Day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course has a minimum age of 12 years old, with no experience required. An RYA Level 2 Powerboat qualification is internationally recognised, and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. The 2 day course focuses on launching and recovery, boat handling, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside, man overboard, weather, and buoyage. Upon completion you will be a self-sufficient power-boater, able to adapt to the conditions, be aware of own limitations and those of other water craft.

Complaints concerning Sandbanks RIB Training Ltd and the activities they offer should be referred to Sandbanks RIB Training Ltd within seven days of the course taking place. Sandbanks RIB Training Ltd will adhere to its complaints procedures and do everything possible within reason to rectify the situation. The complainant will receive a written response from Sandbanks RIB Training Ltd.
